Jobs will show you the expected payout, duration, and the neighborhood. You can make sure that you are always the first one to claim jobs by setting up Instant Book - that way as soon as a job that fits your schedule appears, you will receive it.Īt the top, you can select the day up to one week out. Since other pros are likely claiming jobs, too, it is possible that jobs will get claimed very fast. If you do not have Instant Book set, then you must manually go to this tab to claim jobs from new customers. These are all the available jobs that pros can claim to fill up their schedule. The Claim tab will show you all of theavailable bookings in your selected region, as well as any open jobs within 100 miles of your home address, sorted by day. The other options are “Request Only” (which means you will only receive job options from your existing clients and jobs you manually claim) and “I’m Not Available” (which means you will not receive any jobs other than those you manually claim - so be careful setting this option!). Please review the Instant Book article so that you understand the way this feature works. Of these options, we recommend Instant Book to make sure that you receive as many jobs as possible. You will be shown 3 different Availability Options to choose from. To add availability that only apply for a specific date, select the availability status banner for that date on your schedule to choose your availability setting that day. To add Availability that repeats weekly, select the gear icon on the top right hand corner of the Schedule tab and select your availability setting. Overall, still, I give 5 Stars to Morgan and 4 stars to Handy.Ready to start getting jobs? Excellent! Once you’re all set with the Handy Pro app, open it up and tap the Schedule tab. If I was unable to help lift the TV into place on the wall mount, I would have had to reschedule or find another company altogether. I'm recovering from surgery and not supposed to be lifting too much. Makes sense to send two tech's for such a large item, or at least, at a minimum, let the customer know that they are expected to assist in the installation. The only negative thing I will include is that HANDY never mentioned they were only sending out only ONE technician to install an 85 inch TV. It looks great! Cleaned up after himself when he was complete with the installation. The TV is perfectly centered horizontally and vertically on the wall and it is level. Overall, Morgan did a very professional quality job. He had the job done in less than an hour and a half. He arrived 15 minutes early and was very methodical and paid attention to details that others may have missed. Says a lot about Lowes who i'm not too fond of either. is some straight garbage and i'm disappointed Lowes deals with these aholes. Oh yeah, they actually have the audacity to send text messages saying "Get excited, your scheduled installation is only a day away" Yeah a day away from being rescheduled again. I've been looking forward to getting my garage door back working and these people were wasting my damn time. I said the hell with that cancel my installation lose my number and give me my full refund. I was rescheduled for Wednesday Feb 8 then same thing happened again and they tried to reschedule me again. I was initially booked for Monday Feb 6 but the night before I received a text saying they apologize but they need to reschedule due to a last minute call out from a tech. So Lowes apparently deals with for installations. I ordered a new garage door opener through Lowes and I went ahead and ordered the install through them as well thinking it would just be easier doing things that way. Unfortunately I didn't see all the negative reviews on this pathetic company called Handy. ![]()
